Call me Delysia Lafosse!

Another one of Amy Adam’s movies that I thoroughly enjoyed was Miss Pettigrew lives for a Day. It’s a flamboyant film with little nothing of a story, but it’s so charming and funny and full of really good prose that you cant help but be captivated.

“You people, with your green drinks and your parties and your subterfuges! You're all playing at love. One minute her, the next minute someone else, flit, flit, flit! We'll, I'm not playing. Love is not a game.”

“I am not an expert on love, I am an expert on the lack of love and that is a fate from which I wish more fervently to save you.”

Watch it if you’re just looking for something amusing. It’s very blithe!
